The valley of Kashmir is known all over the world for its beauty and charm. The Kashmir valley is situated about 300 km. from Jammu across forested ravines and steep mountain passes. The emerald valley of Kashmir is cradled in the Himalayas, under the crystal blue skies, against the background of snow-capped mountains. It is a magic land of silvery streams, rivers, fresh water lakes, pine, deodar and chinar forests, snow clad mountains, sparkling waterfalls, shikaras, green meadows and grassy slopes full of flowers of vibrant colours.

The people of Kashmir are popularly known as Kashmiris.Kashmir is just like a Himalayan Paradise on the earth. Some of the famous places to visit in Kashmir are Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Yousmarg. Srinagar is the capital and heart of Kashmir. There are various gardens and lakes in Kashmir. Wular and Dal lake are the famous lakes in Kashmir.

Itinerary

Day 1Train Journey

Indore or Mumbai to jammu by Train (Sleeper Class Non Ac)

Day 2Jammu to PatniTop

Reached to Jammu railway station in the evening and transfer to Patnitop (4-5 hours Journey). Dinner will be provided after one hour of check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay in PatniTop. Patnitop, a beautiful hill resort of the Kashmir valley. Patnitop hill station wears a thick coat of white snow in winters.The natural beauty, dense pine forests and flourishing green landscape of this hill resort makes it a popular tourist destination.

Day 3PatniTop to Pahalgam

After breakfast Visit some point in patnitop and transfer to pahalgam. (6 to 7hr journey) Lunch at 2pm on the way. Check-in to the hotel and dinner at 09:00pm. Overnight stay in Pahalgam. Pahalgam is a situated at the convergence of the Lidder Lake and the Sheshnag Lake. At a height of 2,130 m, Pehalgaam hill station is a spectacular sight. There are many interesting tourist destinations around Pahalgam. Amongst them are the surging pastures of Baisaran.

Day 4Pahalgam local sightseeing

After breakfast visit local sightseeing of Pahalgam. Chandanwari, Betaabvelly, Aruvelly by local transport. Lunch at 02:00 pm at the hotel after lunch visit mini Switzerland(Baisaran by horse). Dinner at 09:00 pm. Overnight stay in Pahalgam. Pahalgam is a lush meadow surrounded by hills and covered with dense vegetation. This region looks very similar to European resorts and is a good campsite. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan, on the way to Chandanwari, is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Filmgoers will recognize it instantly as it has been the location of several movie scenes. Aru, a small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. This charming meadow can be reached by walking along a mountain path.

Day 5Pahalgam to Srinagar

After breakfast proceed to Srinagar. Lunch at 02:00 pm and visit Dal lake in the evening. Take shikara ride for 2hours. Dinner at 09:00pm. Overnight stay in Srinagar. Small boat or popularly known as Shikara ride is one of the most enjoying experience for tourists visiting Srinagar. Dal lake is a market itself , during your cruise on Shikara the boat man will offer you various other services offered by different vendors. You can take photo with traditional Kashmir dress and for this different boat man with all accessories are available.

Day 6Srinagar to Gulmarg

After breakfast visit Gulmarg, 60km far from Srinagar 3 hours journey. Enjoy the very beautiful ride of GONDOLA or you can enjoy horse ride. Lunch at 02:00 pm. Dinner at 09:00 pm. Overnight stay in Srinagar. Gulmarg is one of the beautiful place that can be visited in Kashmir valley. Gulmarg literally means the meadow of flowers. Gulmarg attracts various tourists due to its natural beauty. The snow-clad peaks and the lovely landscapes of Gulmarg have provided background for several Bollywood ventures.

Day 7Srinagar to Sonmarg

After Breakfast visit Sonmarg, 90km far from Srinagar 4 hours journey. Enjoy the beauty of Sonmarg. Here you can take horse ride for Thajwasglaciar Or tavera for zero point. Lunch at 02:00 pm and dinner at 09:00 pm. Overnight stay in Srinagar. The drive to Sonamarg is through the Sindh Valley which presents yet another spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg (‘The meadow of gold’) has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction

Day 8Srinagar Local SightSeeing

After Breakfast visit Srinagar local sightseeing. Hazrat Bal, Mughal Garden(Chashm e Shahi), Tulip Garden, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh. Lunch at 02:00 pm. Visit LalChowk market in the evening. Dinner at 09:00 pm. Overnight stay in Srinagar. Srinagar, is the summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The city lies on both banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus River. The city is famous for its lakes and houseboats floating on them. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits. Srinagar has some Mughal gardens, forming a part of those laid by the Mughal emperors across the Indian subcontinent. Those of Srinagar and its close vicinity include Chashma Shahi (the royal fountains); Pari Mahal (the palace of the fairies); Nishat Bagh (the garden of spring); Shalimar Bagh; and the Naseem Bagh. The Tulip Gardens have been recently opened to public by Sonia Gandhi.

Day 9Srinagar to Jammu

After breakfast proceed to Jammu. Lunch at 02:00 pm on the way. Dinner at 09:00 pm. Overnight Stay in Jammu.

Day 10Drop at Railway station.

After breakfast drop at railway station. Jammu to Indore Or Mumbai by train.( Sleeper Class Non Ac)

Day 11Reached (Indore or Mumbai)
